Funerary Armor

Funerary Armor refers to a group of armor sets that can be acquired in the Path of Fire expansion.

Funerary Armor Achievements

​

This achievement will only give you 6 free armor pieces out of 18 pieces. Additional boxes can be purchased from the Primeval Steward at the Tomb of Primeval Kings in Desert Highlands in exchange for Elegy Mosaics once the corresponding collection is completed. Buying a full set of six boxes costs 72 Elegy Mosaic and 12 Gold.

Completing the Funerary Armor achievements give you an ascended armor box.

Elegy Mosaic

Elegy Mosaics are a currency acquired in the Crystal Desert.

  • Defeating legendary bounty targets. Defeating a legendary bounty target the first time awards a target-specific trophy that is also called an “elegy mosaic”, but instead belongs to the achievement Triumph of Conquests.

  • Legendary bounty targets award: 2-3 commonly, 5-7 uncommonly, 20-25 rarely.

  • Defeating the final legendaries from the Crystal Desert meta events.

  • Rarely from Superior Buried Treasure

The Sun Is Silent for This One

Unlock 18 Funerary Armor Skins by purchasing them from the Primeval Steward in the Tomb of Primeval Kings after completing the appropriate collections.

Washing the Brow

Gather 5 luxuries from renown merchants across the Elonian Desert.

It was written, "Burial should be as luxurious as life—or more, as it sets the tone by which a monarch is remembered forever."

    Port to Destiny's Gorge waypoint, far east area of Crystal Oasis. Complete the heart & purchase Antique Hairpin from Mayor Kabir.

  2. Bottle of Choya...Perfume?
    Purchase from the Choya Chief in Pricklepatch Hollow.
    Port to Brightwater Inlet waypoint, southwest area of Desert Highlands. Complete the heart & buy Bottle of Choya...Perfume? from Choya Chief.

  3. Bolt of Homespun Brocade
    Purchase from Ebele near Olishar's camp in Elon Riverlands.
    Port to Olishar's Oasis Camp waypoint, middle of Elon Riverlands. Complete the heart & purchase Bolt of Homespun Brocade from Ebele.

  4. Offering of Incense
    Purchase from Kisha Odili in the Bonestrand.
    Port to Bonestrand waypoint, north of The Desolation. Complete the heart & purchase Offering of Incense from Kisha Odili.

  5. Cosmetics Palette
    Purchase from Prince Bakkal in Vehjin Palace.
    Port to Vehjin Palace waypoint, northwest of Domain of Vabbi. Complete the heart & purchase Cosmetics Palette from Prince Bakkal.

Recitation of the Litany of Deeds

Bring 10 tales of your adventures to the Elisa, the traveler.
It was customary for heralds and traveling performers to gather and compete over who could tell the most impressive tales to assembled guests and foreign dignitaries.

Reward: 3 AP + Royal Funerary Shoulder Box

Pre-requisite: Complete Last Rites.

Recitation of the Litany of Deeds is a Rare Collections achievement.
The 5 tales must be turned in to Priory Historian Elisa, who moves to different maps every week. Finding her also gives the Roads Less Traveled achievement.

  1. Tale of Loyalty
    Trade this with the traveling historian, Elisa
    Hint: Assist a group of ogres seeking aid at the Tomb of Primeval Kings.
    Complete the event Ask Queen Nadijeh for military support (80) at the Tomb of the Primeval Kings in Desert Highlands.
    Port to Lommuld Kraal waypoint & head east. The event begins outside of the tomb.

  2. Tale of Plenty
    Trade this with the traveling historian, Elisa.
    Hint: Protect Amnoon Water Authority and those who maintain it when they are under attack.
    Complete Defend the Water Authority plant from Hamaseen saboteurs (80) OR Defend the Water Authority facility workers as they repair damaged water pipes (80)
    Port to Amnoon waypoint & head south.

  3. Tale of Dignity
    Trade this with the traveling historian, Elisa.
    Hint: Stop the Mordant Graveraiser from defiling graves in Elon Riverlands.
    Complete the event Stop the Mordant Graveraiser from defiling graves to raise new Awakened (80) in Exile's Rest. Look for Agent Zula to start event.
    Port to Olishar's Oasis Camp waypoint & head south. Look for Agent Zula. He is west of Palawa's Grace PoI. You will need a group for this.

  4. Tale of Courage
    Trade this with the traveling historian, Elisa.
    Hint: Use junundu wurms to destroy the siege forces in the Shattered Ravines.
    Destroy a Forged Catapult or Awakened Trebuchet during the Junundu Rising meta event.
    Port to Joko's Domain waypoint & head north. During the Jununru Rising meta event, follow the Junundu Wurm & destroy a Forged Catapult or Awakened Trebuchet.

  5. Tale of Judgment
    Trade this with the traveling historian, Elisa.
    Hint: Defend Elonians from the whims of the High Judges in the Court of the Dead.
    Complete [Group Event] Defeat High Judge Sidan before innocent Elonians are slain (80) OR [Group Event] Defeat High Judge Ejele and free imprisoned Elonians (80)
    Port to Necropolis waypoint & head west into the Necropolis PoI building. Both events are inside the building.

  6. Blessing of Loyalty
    Double-click to gain a reward.
    Hint: Trade a Tale of Loyalty with Priory Historian Elisa. Elisa travels to a different map in the desert each week.
    Purchase from Priory Historian Elisa for 10 Ley-Infused Sand + 1 Tale of Loyalty.

  7. Blessing of Plenty
    Double-click to gain a reward.
    Hint: Trade a Tale of Plenty with Priory Historian Elisa. Elisa travels to a different map in the desert each week.

Glorify the Golden Heart

Collect 10 missing gems, and combine them with Amalgamated Gemstones in the Lair of Zommoros.
Ahead of burial, a Dynastic ruler's ornate jewelry was collected, restored to glory, and placed in their ceremonial armor.

Reward: 3 AP + Royal Funerary Coat Box

Pre-requisite: Complete Last Rites.

Glorify the Golden Heart is a Rare Collections achievement. Collect all the gems first. Then head to Vehjin Palace waypoint in Domain of Vabbi and head northeast to Western Mihan Hillside. Talk to Explorer Flynn to begin an event that leads to the Lair of Zommoros. You will need at least 3 players to go past the doors.​

  1. Dwarf-Cut Adamantine
    This Essence was brought by a water djinn to an elaborate palace in Desert Highlands.
    Defeat Legendary Ellutherius Wintergust at the Palace of Aban in Desert Highlands.
    Pick up the bounty from the bounty board at Derelict Delve waypoint.

  2. Lost Emerald
    This was stolen by a magic-poisoned fire djinn near Oasis.
    Defeat the Veteran Magic-Muddled Djinn at the Sifuri Sand Sea area of the Crystal Oasis.
    Hero Point northeast of Amnoon waypoint.

  3. Elon Sapphire
    This essence ended up in the hands of a powerful and isolated earth djinn near Elon Riverlands.
    Defeat the Champion Adal, Unyielding Firmament in Elon Riverlands.
    Pick up the bounty from the bounty board at Augury's Shadow waypoint. Its location changes.

  4. Tormented Tourmaline
    Stolen by an air djinn wandering through the desolation.
    Complete the Defeat the Elder Air Djinn event in Poisoned Outcrops in The Desolation.
    Port to The Scourgeway waypoint and head east, past the HP.

  5. Royal Onyx
    Grandmaster Elder Djinn Emine holds this somewhere in the domain of Vabbi.
    First, all enemies in the Hanging Gardens must be killed. Four Champion Djinn's subjects will appear and a player with all the Mastery points unlocked in the Domain of Vabbi must interact with them to spawn the event. After killing the four Champion Djinn's subjects, interact with Grandmaster Elder Djinn Emine to receive the item.

  6. Effervescent Dwarf-Cut Adamantine
    Create with a Dwarf-Cut Adamantine and an Amalgamated Gemstone in the lair of Zommoros.
    Unlock the Dwarf-Cut Adamantine and bring an Amalgamated Gemstone in the inventory to the Lair of Zommoros. In the water room, climb the white, cloudy steps and interact with the elemental orb.

  7. Kindled Lost Emerald
    Create with a Lost Emerald and an Amalgamated Gemstone in the lair of Zommoros.
    Unlock the Lost Emerald and bring an Amalgamated Gemstone in the inventory to the Lair of Zommoros. In the fire room, climb the white, cloudy steps and interact with the elemental orb.

  8. Lush Elon Sapphire
    Create with an Elon Sapphire and an Amalgamated Gemstone in the lair of Zommoros.
    Unlock the Elon Sapphire and bring an Amalgamated Gemstone in the inventory to the Lair of Zommoros. In the earth room, climb the white, cloudy steps and interact with the elemental orb.

  9. Saturated Tormented Tourmaline
    Create with a Tormented Tourmaline and an Amalgamated Gemstone in the lair of Zommoros.
    Unlock the Tormented Tourmaline and bring an Amalgamated Gemstone in the inventory to the Lair of Zommoros. In the air room, climb the white, cloudy steps and interact with the elemental orb.

  10. Dominant Royal Onyx
    Create with a Royal Onyx and an Amalgamated Gemstone in the lair of Zommoros.
    Unlock the Royal Onyx and bring an Amalgamated Gemstone in the inventory to the Lair of Zommoros.
    Climb the white, cloudy steps in the earth room. Run around the edge to the south-west side and follow the cloud stairs outside the room. Jump up the dome, move towards the centre of the area and interact with the elemental orb.

​

  • It is safe to consume the individual gems; players only need to bring an Amalgamated Gemstone for each (five in total) to Lair of Zommoros.

  • The orbs are located up in the air in 4 side rooms with elementals, and one in the central room. Look for barely visible stair cases made of little white clouds leading up to the orbs.

  • The lair closes at the conclusion of the last event in the chain and will expel you from the area, so make sure you interact with the orbs before Explorer Flynn is escorted back out.

Exaltation of the Guardians

Recover 5 lost Guardian statues.
Statues of fabled guardian beasts would be created by talented sculptors, to protect the kingdom in a monarch's absence.

Reward: 3 AP + Royal Funerary Glove Box

Pre-requisite: Complete Last Rites.

  1. Guardian Elemental Statue
    This item only has value when part of a collection.
    Hint: Join the explorers in Desert Highlands on their grand search for Superior Buried Treasure.
    Event: The Search for Buried Treasure
    Begins every odd hour.
     

  2. Guardian Sand Lion Statue
    This item only has value when part of a collection.
    Hint: Use casino coins to purchase goods from the casino blitz cashier.
    Event: [Group Event] Collect as many casino coins as possible before time runs out!
    This event begins every even hour. It repeats 3 times around Amnoon City. All you need is 1 Casino Coin. Then go to Grand Sahil Casino, south of Amnoon waypoint. Purchase the item from the Casino Blitz Reward Cashier. Can only be purchased once.
     

  3. Guardian Hydra Statue
    This item only has value when part of a collection.
    Hint: Defeat the doppelganger hunting people near Augury Rock
    Event: The Path to Ascension, Shift beyond reality to confront the crazed doppelganger
    Related Achievements: Doppel Dropper, Imposter Syndrome
    Acquired after defeating the Legendary Doppelganger near Augury Rock. The spawn radius for this event covers most of the zone except the southernmost areas.
     

  4. Guardian Junundu Statue
    This item only has value when part of a collection.
    Hint: Sabotage the Maws of Torment and destroy the Legendary Forged Demolisher.
    Event: Maws of Torment, [Group Event] Defeat the Legendary Forged Demolisher
    Event begins at near The Darklands Waypoint — [&BKMKAAA=], in The Desolation. This event is part of the Maws of Torment meta event. This part will begin south of The Darklands Waypoint.
     

  5. Guardian Sunspear Statue
    This item only has value when part of a collection.
    Hint: Clear the Branded Forgotten zealots from the Grand Court of Sebelkeh.
    Complete the Serpents' Ire event in the Grand Court of Sebelkeh.
    Event: Serpent's Ire, [Group Event] Defeat Ysshi Hessani and Pek Rakt Grag
    Occurs every 90 minutes, starting one hour after reset (1:00 AM - 2:30 AM).
    Server times: 1 am, 2:30 am, 4 am, 5:30 am, 7 am, 8:30 am, 10 am, 11:30 am, 1 pm, 2:30 pm, 4pm, 5:30 pm, 7 pm, 8:30 pm, 10 pm and 11:30 pm.

Walk the Land

Earn map complete on all 5 Crystal Desert maps.
Dynastic funeral rites often began with participants traveling the breadth of the kingdom to pay their respects.

Reward: 3 AP + Royal Funerary Boot Box

    Earn map complete in Oasis.

  4. Boundary Marker for the Desolation
    Earn map complete in the Desolation.

  5. Boundary Marker for the Domain of Vabbi
    Earn map complete in the Domain of Vabbi.

Priory Historian Elisa

Gather and combine 5 tributes from Elonian gathering nodes.
Rulers of the Primeval Dynasty developed their kingdom's material resources, accruing great wealth and power for themselves and for their subjects.

Reward: 3 AP + Royal Funerary Legging Box

Pre-requisite: Complete Last Rites.

The Collection of Tribute is a Rare Collections achievement.
One of the items, ancient surveyor's tools, require Treasure Hunting Kits that can be purchased from Priory Historian Elisa. She moves to different maps every week. Finding her also gives the Roads Less Traveled achievement.

  1. Slab of Architectural-Grade Granite
    Gather 10 chunks of granite from rare mining nodes in Crystal Oasis.
    Right click on 10 stacks of chunks of granite to combine them.

  2. Cord of Tamarisk
    Gather 10 planks of Tamarisk from lumber nodes in the Desert Highlands.
    Right click on 10 planks of Tamarisk to combine them.

  3. Florid Bouquet
    Gather 10 late-blooming Elon lilies from flax nodes in the Elon Riverlands.
    Right click on 10 late-blooming Elon lilies to combine them.

  4. Imperial Cadastral Suite
    Gather 10 ancient surveyor's tools from buried chests in the Desolation.
    Right click on 10 ancient surveyor's tools to combine them.
    Drops from Buried Treasure found with Treasure Hunting Kits in the Desolation.
    Treasure Hunting Kits drop from Champion mobs and can be purchased from Priory Historian Elisa.
    Ancient Surveyor's Tools can be found once a day in the Primeval Surveyor's Chest north of Caustic Spur. Can be opened 1 time per day per character.

  5. Bushel of Ancient Elon Grapes
    Gather 10 bunches of rare grapes from desert vegetation nodes in the Domain of Vabbi.
    Right click on 10 bunches of rare grapes to combine them.
    Can be harvested from Desert Vegetables in Domain of Vabbi.
    There is a Vabbian Heirloom Grapes node near the Vehtendi Vineyard PoI (SE of Vehtendi Academy). Can be harvested 1 time per day per character.
