Complete 24 steps to acquire the legendary precursor Agaleus.

  1. Talk to castaway "captain" in Pub Canach.
    Talk to "Captain" Ruymond Lakes, NE of Pub Canach waypoint. 
     

  2. Bring a drink to the captain.
    Make any drink from the Mixology Book.
     

  3. Listen to the rest of Captain Lakes's tale.
     

  4. Find the diver.
    Dive Master Astora in Sanctum Harbor within Lion's Arch [&BB4EAAA=]
     

  5. Complete the Master Diver achievement, then return to Dive Master Astora.
    GW2 Master Diver / Sunken Treasure Hunter achievements (Updated 2024!)
     

  6. Find the treasure in Sharkmaw Caverns.
    Loot the chest at the end of Weyandt's Revenge JP in Lion's Arch. Farshore Waypoint [&BDMEAAA=]
     

  7. Find the sunken treasure in the Siren's Reef fractal or Underwater Ruins fractal.
    May need Ornate Rusted Key beforahand.
     

  8. Look for treasure using your skimmer's Aetherlocation skill in Castora.
    Unlock Castoran Intuition to use aetherlocation. Use Aetherlocation underwater to search for Aetherlocation Treasure.
     

  9. Defeat Taidha Covington to retrieve a piece of the mask from her reward chest.
    Check timer here
     

  10. Find the piece of the mask in the 'Booter's Path in Castora.
    Loot the chest at the end of Freebooter Initiate Minidungeon at Twisting Hollows.
     

  11. Find the piece of the mask in the base of Wiley's Buccaneers.
    Read the Torn Note at  Wiley's Cove PoI [&BHsAAAA=], east of Brigantine Waypoint [&BM0DAAA=]
     

  12. Discover where Wiley hid his piece of the mask.
    Inside a small cave, on the side of the cliff south of Vigil Keep Waypoint [&BJIBAAA=]
    I didn't see the item in the cave and had to relog before the chest appeared.
     

  13. Find the piece of the mask in Castora.
    Underwater in Greenroot Grotto Skimmerway [&BL0PAAA=] in Riddled Cove, Shipwreck Strand. Go down the opening at Inquest Confinement Pens [&BKAPAAA=] and head north. 
     

  14. Find the mask piece on one of the freebooters in Castora.
    Random drop from freebooter enemies.
     

  15. Find the piece of the mask in Southsun Cove.
    From Pearl Islet Waypoint [&BNUGAAA=], head west tto Privateer's Moorage PoI [&BNYGAAA=]. Right under the sunken ship.
     

  16. Find the piece of the mask in Lion's Arch.
    From  Claw Island Portage Waypoint [&BA8EAAA=], head wes. West of the vista, underwater among some ruins.
     

  17. Find the piece of the mask hidden in Orr.
    Cursed Shore, west of Shipwreck Rock Waypoint [&BOQGAAA=], inside and underwater shipwreck.
     

  18. Return to Captain Lakes to figure out how to put all the pieces together.
    Return to the captain at Pub Canach in Shipwreck Strand.
     

  19. Speak to Cecil the Strong Arm.
    Next to Captain Lakes.
     

  20. Find the recluse from Weyandt's crew.
    Talk to the Castaway sitting on the lower ledge, west from Leystone Promontory [&BKkPAAA=]
     

  21. Find the Shark Spirit near the Honor of the Waves sanctuary.
    Talk with the shark ghost swimming around south & west area of Honor of the Waves Waypoint [&BEMFAAA=]
     

  22. Complete one of the explorable paths in Honor of the Waves to help the Shark Spirit.

  23. Return to the Shark Spirit.

  24. Return to the shaman.

Complete the Hammerhart Rumble! meta event in Shipwreck Strand & pick up the well-worn storybook.

    Skippy. On a loopy rock at Crimsonleaf Fountain PoI, SW of Dark Leviathan waypoint.
     

  2. Find the sailor.
    Shenanigans. On an high isle, north of Glimmering Arches.
     

  3. Find the gunner.
    Pippin. At water level, north of the Hammerhart platform at Twisting Hollows.
     

  4. Find the navigator.
    Loki. West of Forecastle Rock PoI, between Hullgarden and Guarded Glades.
     

  5. Find the cook.
    Rudder. In the kitchen at Pub Canach.
     

  6. Find the boatswain.

Hobbies of the Hullgardeners (2AP)

Try out the hobbies the locals entertain themselves with.

  1. Fly a kite.
    There is a spot, south of Hullgarden Pier waypoint, north of the HP.
     

  2. Make a paper boar and set sail.
    At the bottom of Crimsonleaf Fountain PoI, north of Hullgarden.
     

  3. Pick flowers for a local couple.
    Pick up Pretty Flowers SW of Hullgarden Pier waypoint. Give them to Castaway Jessie who is sitting with Castaway Amber on the shore SE from the flowers.
     

  4. Help collect shells, and give them to Sheldon.
    South of Hullgarden Pier waypoint. Pick up a seashell and give it to Castaway Sheldon.

In Loving Memory (3AP)

In Shipwreck Strand, take a moment to reflect at the graves of the Castorans no longer with us.

  1. A bouquet of flowers is placed here.
    Right by The 'Booter's Path PoI in Twisting Hollows.
     

  2. Tove grieves at this grave.
    Lilly's Grave can be found in the Shoalstone. It can be found at the end of the Castaway Tove escort event.
     

  3. A pair of candles, lit for a pair.
    Hastily Constructed Grave. South of Starlit Stair PoI at Guarded Glades.
     

  4. A grave where rumors are buried.
    On an outcrop in the SE corner of the map, near the HP by Overgrown Channel Skimmerway PoI.
     

  5. A monument in a grotto; a majesty and a memorial to many.
    In Monument Grotto. Head underwater from NE of Pub Canach, east of Sailor's Heart PoI. Keep going towards the NE area of Hullgarden Pier waypoint.
     

  6. Under the earth, in a grotto. The first of a trio.

    Three Weathered Headstones can be found in the Waterfall Rest Grotto under the Breezy Cay.

Title: Castaway Consoler
Help the grief-ridden castaways come to terms with their losses.

  1. Find the message in the bottle along the shores of Castora.
    On the beach, south of Hullgarden Pier waypoint, north of the HP.
     

  2. Return the letter to the sender.
    Find Castaway Lyla at the Hullgarden Village Plaza PoI.
     

  3. Bring Lyla's token to the remains.

  4. Let Lyla know you've returned the trinket.

  5. Let Lyla know you've returned the trinket.

    5a. Leave gold at Harvey's resting place, nestled among endless shipwrecks.SE area of the map. Underwater, east of Overgrown Channel Skimmerway PoI.
    5b. Light candles at Mikki's parents' grave in a protected western glade overlooking an inland beach.
    Castaway Mikki is NW of Hullgarden Pier waypoint. South of Starlit Stair PoI in Guarded Glades.
    5c. Get a musical instrument for Liz from Dampfur in the village.
    Castaway Dampfur appears at random spots on the coast along Hullgarden Pier waypoint or in Hullgarden Village.
    5d. Play Liz's song near where she was last seen, in the south over jetsam on a riddled path.
    5e. Pick a bouquet for Robert and leave it by his grave in the west, where streams cascade into a pond.
    North area of Twisting Hollows, above The 'Booter's Path PoI.
    5f. Place a stone on Pine's resting place in the waters of the north sea, cradled behind an island.
    The grave is NW of Dark Leviathan waypoint. north of Leystone Promontory PoI, but underwater.
    5g. Go to Gertie's grave on a spire over shipwrecks and tell her a story.
    South of Jetsam Point, near the HP.
     

  6. Seek me out once more; return to my remains where you left the bottle.
    Return to Spirit of Karina, east of Hullgarden Pier waypoint.

  7. Reunite Karina and Lyla.
    Return to Lyla at Hullgarden.

Help a former Astral Ward member find their scattered memories.

  1. Speak with a former Astral Ward member in Glimmering Arches.
    Talk to Castaway Clio, west of Luminous Glade PoI.
     

  2. Look for a memory on a cliff between garden, glade, and hollows in Shipwreck Strand.
    East of Castaway's Tears PoI in Twisting Hollows.
     

  3. Pay a visit to Central Tyria fiefdom and the memory that gazes up at the Wizard's Tower.
    South of Darkwound waypoint [&BBEAAAA=] in Kessex Hills.
     

  4. Look for a memory in Shipwreck Strand on a small island of plants and wildlife, surrounded by glimmering shoals.
    Island NW of Glimmering Arches, east of Shoalstone.
     

  5. Look for a memory in Starlit Weald, north of ruin's moat.
    Northwest area in Starlit Weald, south of Shattered Capstone PoI.
     

  6. Speak to the foremost expert on the Astral Ward in Shipwreck Strand, and see if he remembers anything about this former member.
    Talk to Isgarren at Soaring Sands, near Dark Leviathan waypoint.
     

  7. Look for a memory washed to shore among the shipwrecks of the southern strand.
    SE corner of the map, on the beach,  north of Overgrown Channel Skimmerway PoI.
     

  8. Return to Central Tyria and track down a memory bidding farewell to a pair of steadfast hawks.
    North of Hawkgates waypoint [&BMUAAAA=] in Fields of Ruin.
     

  9. Travel to the source of undead draconic magic in Central Tyria and find the memory waiting there.
    In Malchor's Leap. South of Lights waypoint [&BLICAAA=], near the HP.
     

  10. Return the memories to the former Astral Ward member in Glimmering Arches.
    Return to Castaway Clio, west of Luminous Glade PoI.
