Missing Scout (3AP 1 MP)

Complete the steps to investigate the missing scouts.

  1. Someone at the Alliance Staging Ground must know more.

    Listen to Ocean Bloom and Blinding Sunrise, south of Alliance Staging Ground waypoint [&BFAPAAA=]

  2. Talk to Ocean Bloom and Blinding Sunrise about their missing friend.

  3. Ocean Bloom and Blinding Sunrise said to seek out Quiet Lagoon, who is scouting in the north.

    Quiet Lagoon is the adventure NPC in Hidden Sacrarium, far north of Alliance Staging Grounds waypoint [&BFAPAAA=]

  4. Quiet Lagoon is having me look for his missing scouts. Riven Marl should be among them. (Get gold in the adventure)

  5. Riven Marl was not among the missing scouts. Maybe they are lost somewhere else in these ruins.
    Interact with the Strange Box, near the vista in Hidden Sacrarium [&BFkPAAA=]

Mursaat's Game (3AP)

Complete the steps to free Riven Marl.
Pre-requisite: Missing Scout

  1. What's happening?

  2. The game was rigged from the start. You need help.

  3. Maybe Ocean Bloom and Blinding Sunrise have some ideas.
    Talk to Ocean Bloom and Blinding Sunrise, south of Alliance Staging Ground waypoint [&BFAPAAA=]

  4. Riven Marl learned to whittle during an art class in Harvest Den. It is one of their favourite memories.
    Rytlock Carving. Top floor of Denning Forge, just north of Harvest Den waypoint in Lowland Shore.

  5. Riven Marl would often while away the hours with a nice, hot bath at their favorite spot in the lowlands.
    Caithe Carving. Behind the bathhouse near Hot Springs waypoint in Lowland Shores.

  6. Riven Marl once won a bet by climbing to the top of the Cathedral of Blood.
    Logan Carving. On top of the cathedral [&BAYPAAA=]. South of Sanguine Crater waypoint in Janthir Syntri.

  7. Riven Marl's worst scouting experience was soaking in the rain near Dead Lovers Rock.
    Eir Carving. On top of a pillar in the water, near the Mastery Insight northeast of Janthir Syntri. [&BOkOAAA=]

  8. Riven Marl was scouting Yagon's Gift during a period when the agony had dissipated.
    Garm Carving. In a small cave far east of Valley of Shadow [&BEwPAAA=]

  9. Riven Marl was part of the groupo that helped the Priory explore Celsa's Orchard.
    Snaff Carving. Behind a pillar, two levels under the vista at Garden of the Unseen, southeast area of Mistburned Barrens [&BFYPAAA=]

  10. Riven Marl was known to whittle high up above the Alliance Staging Ground.
    Zojja's Carving. Right above Alliance Staging waypoint, on a pillar in Mistburned Barrens.

  11. Riven Marl was one of the first to volunteer to enter a mursaat mirror.
    Mr. Sparkles Carving. Enter the mursaat mirror at Valravn's Vigil PoI [&BE4PAAA=], northwest of Valley of Agony. The carving is under the Mastery Insight, between Valley of Agony and Seer's March.

  12. You've got your army. Now win the game and save Riven Marl.

  13. You've beaten the game. Time to see if Riven Marl is okay.​

Find all of the White Mantle journals in Janthir Syntri and Mistburned Barrens.

  • Near a fishing spot by Thunder Bay
    North of Stricken Plains waypoint

  • On a table at the Alliance Staging Ground
    Just south of Alliance Staging Ground waypoint

  • Somewhere within the Nexus of Moonlight
    Bottom floor, southern area of the Nexus of Moonlight

  • Near the sealed gate in the Grand Athenaeum
    Ulrich's Journal (Seen as Tattered Journal). In JW Chapter 16 Penance for the Past. At the top of the eastmost steps.

The Wayward Wisp: Vault Dispatch (10AP)

On behalf of the Wizard's Vault, investigate rumors of a wayward wisp appearing within Mistburned Barrens.

​

  1. 1. Purchase the Wayward Wisp Quest License from the Wizard's Vault.

    500 Astral Acclaim

  2. Speak with Field Archivist Cierle in Mistburned Barrens.
    Just north of Alliance Staging Ground waypoint

  3. Complete events across Mistburned Barrens to draw forth the wayward wisp.

    Do 4 events.
     

  4. Return to Field Archivist Cierle.

  5. Ask Valiant Aria for guidance in your pursuit of the wayward wisp.

  6. Seek out the wayward wisp. Whenever you're close, use your warclaw's sniff to reveal the wisp.

    The Wayward Wisp: Wisp Outreach (1AP)
    Use your warclaw's strong sense of smell to find the wayward wisp.
    - Outreach 1: Connect with the wayward wisp between the Grand Athenaeum and the Laboratory.
    - Outreach 2: Connect with the wayward wisp atop the vines between the Nexus of Moonlight and the Grand Athenaeum.
    - Outreach 3: Connect with the wayward wisp overlooking the waterfalls on the eastern edge of the Valley of Agony.
    - Outreach 4: Connect with the wayward wisp atop the ruins in the Golden Lake.
     

  7. Ask Valiant Aria for guidance to perfect your bond with the wayward wisp.

  8. Perfect your bond with the wayward wisp by communing together at the Mastery Insight in the Hidden Sacrarium.

  9. Report back to Field Archivist Cierle.
