Raptor

Raptors are hardy and swift, and surprisingly easy to train due to their intelligence. They can cross great distances in a single leap, making them the favored mount of many of the desert's denizens. Travelers are advised not to leave the city of Amnoon without obtaining a raptor companion.

It is the first mount available to players upon reaching the Crystal Desert. The Raptor can jump further than any other mount, being able to jump across large gaps. While mounted on a Raptor, you gain 100% increased movement speed.

Discover the true ravenous nature of the raptor, greatly increasing the damage of Tail Spin.

Learn to round up foes when using Tail Spin, pulling them in to your location.

Learn to leap much further distances with the raptor's movement ability allowing you to traverse even more rough terrain.

Master the raptor mount and learn to share the bonus from Ravenous Strike to all mount engage skills.

Springer

To get a Springer mount, you need to unlock the third Raptor Mastery called Canyon jumping, so that you can get to the Springer mount area in Desert Highlands.

You will also need 50 Trade Contracts + 1 gold to buy it from Stablemaster Unja. Complete the heart to get her to sell it to you.

The springer will now have a greater tolerance to taking fall damage.

Cannon Ball will now knock down foes that are damaged.

The springer's charged jump will now be able to jump much higher distances.

All mounts will now receive the bonus from Fortified Descent.

Jackal

To get a Jackal mount, you need a Skimmer to travel around the desert in The Desolation. Having a Springer also helps you get up to the platform where the heart vendor is.

You will also need 200 Trade Contracts + 20 gold to buy it from Drojkor, Spirit Squall. Complete the heart to get him to sell it to you.
